About this patient
This 40-year-old woman from opted for bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy for treatment of her breast cancer. Following her mastectomies, she underwent immediate tissue expander breast reconstruction. Following are representative photos of the appearance with tissue expanders in place at full expansion. Women have minimal downtime and pain during the expansion process and have reconstructed breasts during the entire process. It is typical to return to normal activities and duties after a few weeks postoperatively.
