About this patient
This 43-year-old woman from Cave Creek, AZ desired improved contour of her abdomen and also had complaints of lower back pain and infections of the groins after massive weight loss. She also had recurrence of her abdominal hernia with issues with pain and contour deformities from the previous mesh closure. She had an abdominal wall reconstruction and lower abdominal panniculectomy performed, which ameliorated all of her symptoms. After photos at 1 year show improved contour of her abdomen after removal of excess skin and fat of the lower abdomen. She is overjoyed with the improved appearance and resolution of issues caused by her abdomen.
