What is a Breast Lift?
Dr. Andres has the precision and practice to deliver a near-perfect breast lift in Scottsdale. Typically, a breast lift surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure using IV sedation or general anesthesia. This is administered under the care of a board-certified anesthesiologist.
Based on his professional opinion, as well as the patient’s personal preference, Dr. Andres will elect to employ one of the following breast lift techniques:
- Donut incision – This type of incision encircles the areola
- Anchor incision – This is similar to a short scar incision but has an additional, horizontal incision along the bottom crease of the breast
- Short scar incision – This incision is made around the areola and then runs straight down the center of the breast to the crease. This technique is also called a “lollipop incision”
A Scottsdale & Phoenix breast lift surgery takes about 3 hours. However, if combined with coordinating breast procedures, such as breast augmentation surgery, it can be longer. Depending on your needs, Dr. Andres may suggest that you pair your breast lift with breast augmentation or breast reduction to achieve a more comprehensive result.
