About this patient

This is a 51-year-old female from Scottsdale, Arizona who underwent breast reconstruction for breast cancer. She was quite unhappy with her results and desired improved, size, shape and symmetry of her breasts. She complained that there was not enough fullness or cleavage of her breasts and stated that the implants consistently were under her arms. She underwent revision of her bilateral reconstructed breasts with en bloc capsulectomy and removal of implants along with implant exchange at our Scottsdale Breast Reconstruction Center. She later had some fat grafting to improve contouring of her breasts. Her after photos at 11 months show improved shape and appearance of the breasts with well-concealed incisions as previous. She states that she looks and feels better in clothing as well and has improved activity level and improved self-esteem/confidence.

A MESSAGE FROM ANDRES PLASTIC SURGERY CONCERNING COVID-19

Our offices are open for urgent and post-op/non-symptomatic patients only. However, the staff is available per our usual hours for any email, telephone, or video inquiries. We have made virtual consultations available via Telemed for all elective procedures and routine care, which you can schedule at the link below. Elective surgery appointments will be scheduled beginning May 1st in Maricopa County.

We are open for all patient care and have in person as well as virtual/telemedicine visits available. However, we ask that any visitors remain outside the building, with only the patient allowed in the building at this time. A mask covering the mouth and nose is required at all times while in the building. Please call the office to reschedule your visit if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID such as, fever, shortness of breath, cough and/or loss of taste or smell. Staff is available during our usual business hours for any questions, concerns or inquiries. If you have an urgent need after hours please call the office at (480) 275-7800 and the provider on call will assist you.
