About this patient

This 51-year-old woman from Toronto, Canada sought consultation from Dr. Andres for immediate breast reconstruction with the cohesive silicone implants at our Scottsdale Breast Reconstruction Center. All of the various options were discussed and she chose to proceed with the procedure with minimal downtime so that she could return to Canada and resume work and activities. She underwent bilateral mastectomy followed by insertion of silicone gel implants for her breast reconstruction as a single-stage procedure. After photos at 3.5 years show excellent size and symmetry and improved upper pole fullness, which has held up over the course of several years. She is very happy with her reconstructed breasts and the shape, feel, and appearance of them. She reports excellent appearance in clothing and an overall feeling of wholeness after her diagnosis of breast CA and loss of her breasts.

A MESSAGE FROM ANDRES PLASTIC SURGERY CONCERNING COVID-19

Our offices are open for urgent and post-op/non-symptomatic patients only. However, the staff is available per our usual hours for any email, telephone, or video inquiries. We have made virtual consultations available via Telemed for all elective procedures and routine care, which you can schedule at the link below. Elective surgery appointments will be scheduled beginning May 1st in Maricopa County.

We are open for all patient care and have in person as well as virtual/telemedicine visits available. However, we ask that any visitors remain outside the building, with only the patient allowed in the building at this time. A mask covering the mouth and nose is required at all times while in the building. Please call the office to reschedule your visit if you have any signs or symptoms of COVID such as, fever, shortness of breath, cough and/or loss of taste or smell. Staff is available during our usual business hours for any questions, concerns or inquiries. If you have an urgent need after hours please call the office at (480) 275-7800 and the provider on call will assist you.
