Breast Implant Reconstruction Gallery

About this patient
This 37-year-old woman from Salt Lake City, UT opted for bilateral mastectomy for treatment of her breast cancer. Following her mastectomies, she underwent immediate tissue expander breast reconstruction. At the second stage of her reconstruction, her tissue expanders were exchanged for bilateral cohesive, silicone, cohesive "gummy bear” implants. Postoperative photos at 8 months show excellent size, shape, and contour of her reconstructed breasts with these "gummy bear" implants. She had minimal pain and no change in mobility or strength following this procedure. She is very happy with her results and is contemplating nipple areolar reconstruction.
